Khustup Guided Hiking Tour ( 5 days, 4 nights) (For groups of 6-12 hikers) Day 1 Transfer from Yerevan to Tatev Monastery Sightseeing stopovers include: Zangakatun ( P. Sevak Museum) Lunch at Vardges Cave Noravank Monastery Dinner and overnight rest in Tatev village Day 2 Hiking tour from ARK’s Kapan Eco-camp to Mount Khustup basecamp at Storot (2000 masl) Sandwich breaks are possible throughout the day Lunch at Storot basecamp Leisure time to enjoy the gorgeous view Presentation on Alpine Zones of Syunik region Picnic dinner Camping overnight in Storot basecamp (ARK will provide tents) Day 3 Hiking to the peak of Mount Khustup (3250 masl) and back to Storot basecamp Picnic lunch near the peak Leisure time to enjoy the gorgeous view (5 countries are visible from the peak) Picnic dinner Camping overnight in Storot basecamp (ARK will provide tents) Day 4 Hiking from Storot basecamp to ARK’s Kapan Eco-camp Ethnic lunch at ARK’s Kapan Eco-camp Visit to Kapan Museum of Ethnography Ethnic dinner at ARK’s Kapan Eco-camp (Khashlama: stewed beef or lamb with vegetables) Farewell fire at ARK’s Kapan Eco-camp enjoying ethnic music Day 5 Travel back to Yerevan Sightseeing stopovers include: Karahunj (Armenian Stonehenge, but older!) Yeghegis Gorge (to watch bezoar goats) Visit to Areni vineyards with wine tasting
